Is there a place with significance for your relationship?
I’ve got plenty of options and experience with great locations to propose, but the best place for a proposal is the one that means something to you and your fiancé. In years to come, when you and your fiancé tell the story and shares pictures, how do you want to remember it? One favorite place of mine to photograph is the Duke Mansion, with its private gardens and grounds in historic the Myers Park neighborhood in Charlotte. It can also be a great place for your wedding, and visiting and staying on anniversaries.
Consider a public park carefully
Charlotte has lots of beautiful public parks. While many of them can be good locations for a marriage proposal, they can also have permit requirements for photographers/videographers, parking considerations, distractions and crowds to manage. If you want to propose at a park, I’ll guide you to a quiet place where you'll both feel comfortable and relaxed so you can focus on each other.
