A Lake Norman Wedding at Trump National Golf Club Charlotte

As a Charlotte wedding photographer, there is something different about returning to a wedding venue after spending time with a couple there before their wedding day. I had already photographed Bekah and Alex's engagement photos, rehearsal dinner and welcome party, at Trump National Golf Club Charlotte. So on their wedding day, I was excited to photograph not only the couple, but also the families and friends I had come to know throughout their wedding journey.

Trump National Golf Club Charlotte is a private club on Lake Norman, and proved to be a stunning waterfront setting and beautiful backdrop for every part of the wedding celebration.

From the first look on a private Lake Norman pier to portraits along the shore, the lakeside ceremony, cocktail hour with parasols, and the spirited New Orleans-style parade to the Ballroom, every part of the day felt personal and full of energy.

It was an honor to photograph this celebration for Bekah and Alex and for the families and friends I had gotten to know along the way. Their wedding at Trump National Golf Club Charlotte was a beautiful reminder of why I love photographing weddings: the opportunity to document not just a single day, but the relationships, emotions, and moments that bring everyone together to celebrate something truly meaningful.
