Wedding at The Rafters at Historic St. Mark’s in Huntersville NC

With friends and family coming together from the US and UK, it was important to Caitlin and Pat for their wedding to have a relaxed party atmosphere where guests could have fun and spend time together.

Their summer wedding at The Rafters at Historic St. Marks was the perfect place to make great pictures at the 1886 chapel and farmhouse then celebrate at modern reception hall.

Connections and Community Built on Soccer

The day was filled with meaningful personal connections as well. I was honored to be referred for the wedding by the soccer club where my daughter plays. The bride and groom grew up playing competitive soccer, and the groom is now a professional coach. Adding another layer of connection, I’ve done photography work for the soccer club’s management and was flattered by there referral. It's always enjoyable to discover those unexpected ties in the Charlotte area that make a wedding day feel even more personal.
