There’s something special about photographing a couple in a place where they can slow down, have fun, and simply enjoy being together. Engagement sessions are one of my favorite parts of being a wedding photographer because they give couples the chance to get comfortable in front of the camera while creating beautiful photographs that feel genuinely like them.

For this engagement session, we headed to The Venue Natural in Rock Hill, South Carolina, a beautiful wedding venue surrounded by a sprawling wooded property, a peaceful lake, and the natural beauty of the Catawba River area. With so much room to explore, it was the perfect setting for a relaxed afternoon of photographing this sweet couple.
