A beautiful wedding at Christ Church Charlotte and reception at Charlotte Country Club, exuding refined Southern charm and effortless elegance since 1910 in Plaza-Midwood.  The club’s grand oaks surround a classic white brick clubhouse, providing a bright and airy glow.

What I loved most about this Charlotte Country Club wedding is how the timeless architecture, with natural light streaming through tall windows make every detail, from the bride’s lace train to her delicate pearl earrings luminous. Meanwhile, the groom shared a quiet moment in the stately men’s lounge - a space straight out of a classic Southern novel.

When it was time for their first look, we went to the clubhouse front entrance that was decorated in florals and greenery just for this occasion.  The moment they saw each other — pure, unfiltered joy — it was one of those instances where I’m reminded why I do what I do. The emotion was real, and the setting framed it beautifully.

The ceremony took place at Christ Church Charlotte in the afternoon.  The sanctuary was filled with love, laughter, and happy tears. Before and after the ceremony, we captured portraits around the church, with so many corners offers stunning backdrops.

The reception was a blend of romance and celebration. The ballroom’s high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and soft candlelight created an intimate yet elegant atmosphere. Guests dined, danced, and toasted under custom lighting, and when the band struck up their first song, the energy was electric.

As the evening came to a close, the couple made their grand exit through the front of the clubhouse — a perfect ending to a day that felt straight out of a storybook.
