Family Photography at the Duke Mansion in Charlotte NC

A lovely evening for this extended family at a favorite venue for portrait photography, the iconic Duke Mansion. Built in the Myers Park neighborhood in 1915, the Duke Mansion was home to James Buchanan Duke and his plans for Duke University. Today, the Duke Mansion operates as an inn, garden, and event space that is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins joined this family to celebrate their high school senior’s graduation from Providence Day School and acceptance at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Carolina blue theme in the outfits? … mandatory.  Congratulations Tarheel!
