Charlotte wedding and portrait photographer Michael Parks is a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) through Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  In Charlotte NC, Michael is one of only four photographers with this prestigious designation.

One of my proudest moments as a professional photographer was in 2021 when I got my letter announcing that I had earned my Certified Professional Photographer designation through Professional Photographers of America (PPA).  The process of studying and training was quite involved, and really helped me grow as a photographer for my wedding and portrait clients.  PPA has provided me with so many connections, ongoing education, and skills that I needed to become the professional photographer that I am today.

In 2025, I completed four years of continuing education with PPA to qualify again as a Certified Professional Photographer.  One of the most important courses I completed was advanced wedding and portrait posing, where I created the images above with lighting that naturally complimented the model’s figure.
